“ELECTRIC-SOLAR VEHICLE CHAMPIONSHIP” is a Solar Vehicle Challenge hosted
for the First time in India; by RISC-LPU.

“ROBOTICS AND INTELLIGENT SYSTEM COMMUNITY” (RISC) is a community directed by students of LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY. It works on the principle for
students and by the student under the aegis of DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS.
RISC have worked on various innovative projects which have and will bestow creative mind’s thinking patterns to the upcoming future Technology, so that our mind can boost enough power to face any hurdles in the way of learning the new tactics to deal with ever changing or dynamic technology.
We aim to build student’s interest in Renewable source of energy. One of the most promising source is the Sun on which our Solar system is dependent for gravity, path and We for Life.
So lets harvest this unending source of energy in every possible way.
So one of the possible ways is to use solar powered vehicle and eliminate the use of fossil fuel usage.
Teams are supposed to make a single seated electric car that can use solar energy as alternative source of power using DC motor to maneuver the vehicle. This is a challenging competition where the team has to build an optimized vehicle with a
cost limitation of Rs. 70,000/-
